    in Paranormal

Paranormal Research Socities can be organized in higher education.
Eugene Claridge III is a paranormal investigator as well as founder of the John Carroll Paranormal Research Group. This student organization was created in the effort to foster an environment in which students could investigate and thoroughly discuss elements of the paranormal with an academic frame of mind. Not only was this group endorsed by the University and supported by the History Department, the Boo Streaks were recognized as “the 2013 Outstanding Organization of the Year.” Eugene also received the award for “2013 Outstanding Student Leader.” The group has been featured on local radio and newspaper articles, which includes Cleveland.com. During his tenure as leader of the group, Gene organized and led investigations at many historical locations throughout the state of Ohio and Kentucky. From the decks of the Steamship William G. Mather to the cells of the Ohio State Reformatory to even the hallowed ground of Perryville Battlefield, members of the group were able to investigate the claimed hauntings of these locations and many more. The Boo Streaks were taught how to analyze data and had opportunities to present their findings to fellow students as well as local members of the surrounding communities. Upon graduation, Eugene has become an auxiliary member of Tri-C Ghost Hunters to further his experiences and knowledge of one of life's greatest mysteries.
Eugene is also joined by co-founding mambe Jose Esparza.
Jose Esparza is a paranormal investigator and a founding member of the John Carroll University Research Group. Jose’s interest in the paranormal first started as a curiosity into what happens to the soul in the afterlife. In hopes that he could find answers to this ever longing question and to further expand his knowledge of the afterlife
