  • The Don S. McClure Show Live - How Far Can a Book Go to The Future

    in Lifestyle

The Don S. McClure Show Live- Play List Friday Show June 22, 2018, Topic How Far Can A Book go into the future:
I want you to take a moment to think about the question at hand. Just how far can a book move into the future once it has been written and published. Well, when you think back to how many times you hear someway, I read some title of a book that is now a blockbuster movie, or the movie is listed as based on a true life story or real-life events. Or a play that once was created in a book form.  Yes, even the names of authors some well know and other just well admired for their work in the field of the written word. You will see their names displayed on the tops of library buildings or on some wall in a community representing the best in literature. Even the field of architecture, seems to include the names of authors and what genre that create knowing that when travelers use a portable data booth or take a needed stroll to the gentlemen  or ladies facilities there to catch the eye of the participant will be the listing of some of the great books and those who create them. Yes if you are lucky your name and your work will live on long after you have left this world in human form, but your ideas, desires, and thoughts weather in the style of a poem, an autobiography,  or some long novel like Gone with the Wind, your name will last through the ages. Topic Discussion: Don S. McClure Renowned American Author.

  • What Being Alone Can Teach Us

    in Lifestyle

When I was young I thought being alone meant no one loved me and I was unworthy, it made me seek to always be with others because then it meant I was worth something. But at a turning point in my life I realized that I had to learn to be alone to really know myself. Taking that step changed me greatly.
But as it is with most things, learning is constantly occurring and while then I sought out the solitary world, I'm not sure I got it to the level I do now. Being alone now means peace and contentment which is something I would never had believed.
Join me as we talk about what being alone can do for you, what doors and windows it can open to yourself, and how it becomes addicting.

  • Truth to Triumph: A Spiritual Guide to Finding Your Truth By Lily Sanders

    in Lifestyle

Lily Sanders’ life experiences, adversity, talent, sense of humor, and intense compassion has gifted her a purpose to write, influence, and coach others. As a magazine columnist, Lily inspired thousands while writing her own powerful book, Truth to Triumph. Her newly international released book, Truth to Triumph: A Spiritual Guide to Finding Your Truth has already begun transforming lives.
Lily grew up in a domestically violent home, and used ballet class as her sanctuary. Performing and producing was her dream since she was a young child. She later went on as a professional dancer and landed interesting gigs as a dance contestant on Ed McMahon’s Star Search, and a Showgirl/Dancer on Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus. She continued onto a promising acting career and won various Off Broadway roles and a day player role on ABC’s One Life to Live. Years later, she married, birthed a beautiful child and became a highly successful entrepreneur in the franchise world. Sadly, Lily suffered behind a veil of silence for 14 years, as she found herself back in a domestically violent home as a battered wife. The good news is that the lessons she learned and the awakening she experienced transformed her into the inspirational, insightful, and thought-provoking author, speaker, and coach that she is today.

It was insight about the need, appeal and the vigilance of men seeking to use the opportunity that brought Freemasonry from the highlands of Scotland into the hands of ambitious builders.  By professing a standard of living based on ethics and principles, Freemasonry never quite becomes deterministic. It leans toward shamanic or clairvoyant areas of the imagination.  For those with an appetite for metaphysics, it is rewarding.  And for the man of lesser ability, it offers a fond subordination that assures order while assuaging anxieties.  If we search for answers, we learn that being transfixed has little use. We enter states of deeper contemplation through commonplace, situational demands of life.  We can be assured of an enriched experience of a life well beyond achievements in the marketplace or the esteem of our fellows.  Life is a serious but not necessarily solemn matter for a true Mason. Next generations have been watching and asking questions. Is that all there is? The unhealthy lifestyles, with too little time for family, sacrifices made for a job, for gain; they are no longer incentives.  We have created what we have wished for; a generation that values the quality of life over quantity.  Jobs with high social esteem, that consume and define a person have lost incentive. We have wanted our children to experience equality. And they are. And we are lurching forward to adapt to change. Distance and time have been conquered by social media.  For many of us, what a man has for dinner each day and why he would think we would need to know is still a puzzle. But for networks of friends, they continue on a global level.  Many of us will remember the first pictures of earth from space; a blue global with swirls of clouds floating in darkness. It changed us forever into a global community that we could see first hand. Watch what you wish for- it might come true?  We are restless.
